Requirements: You will need 100 coins, a Raw Sardine, and a Bucket of Milk to complete this quest.
A Lost Kitty-
To start Gertrude’s Quest speak to Gertrude who lives in a house in between Varrock and Barbarian Village. She will tell you that she has lost he cat and wants you to help find it. Tell her you will help but that you need more info, she will tell you that her sons Shilop and Wilough, who are in the Varrock Marketplace, saw the cat last. Go behind her house and grab some doogle leaves off the ground. Use the leaves on your sardine to combine them. Now head to the fountain in the center of Varrock and you should see Wilough and Shilop to the Northeast, behind the fur stand. Talk to them and ask what it will take for them to tell you where their hideout is, agree to pay 100 coins and they will tell you that it is at the lumber mill.
Cat Scratch-
Head to the Lumber Mill that is Northeast of Varrock, and squeeze under the fence on the west wall. Head to the Northeast structure and climb up the ladder. Try to pick Fluff's up and she will scratch you, your character will guess that she is thirsty. Use the bucket of milk on her and she will drink it up. Try to pick her up again and your character will guess that she is hungry. Use the Seasoned Sardine on her then try to pick her up once again. She refuses to leave again and you hear kittens in the background. Go back down and search the Jiggling Crates until you find Three Little Kittens then go use them on Fluffs. A small reunion cut scene will show then Fluffs and the kittens will run home. Head back to Gertrude’s and speak to her to finish the quest.
