Quickest Ways of Completion:
Start: Edgeville (Amulet of Glory)
Do the tasks in this order: 11, 5, 10, 17, then teleport to Varrock and do 8, 1, 2, 13, 18, 12, 15, 19, 4, 7, 14, 16, 3, 6.
Start: Varrock (teleport)
Do the tasks in this order: 8, 1, 2, 13, 18, 12, 15, 19, 4, 7, 14, 16, 3, 6, then teleport to Edgeville with a Glory Amulet and then do 11, 5, 10, 17.
1. Have Thessalia show you what outfits you can wear
2. Have Aubury teleport you to the essence mine
Aubury is located in the rune shop south of the east bank.
3. Mine some iron ore in the Mining spot, south-east of Varrock
To get to the mining location, go out the east gate and go south until you see it west of the path.
4. Make a plank at the sawmill
To get to the sawmill, go out the east gate and head north, following the path.
5. Enter the second level of the Stronghold of Security
The Stronghold of Security is located in the center of Barbarian Village.
6. Jump over the fence, south of Varrock
The fence is located to the west of Rat Burgiss
7. Chop down a dying tree in the Lumber Yard
The dying tree can be found in the lumberyard behind the sawmill.
8. Buy a copy of the Varrock Herald
The Varrock Herald can be bought from Benny for 50 gp. He is located north-east of the main fountain.
9. Give a stray dog a bone
Stray dogs can be found wandering around the city. Use a bone with it to fulfill this requirement.
10. Make a bowl on the pottery wheel then fire it in the pottery oven, all in the Barbarian Village
The pottery wheel and oven can be found south of the entrance to the Stronghold of Security in Barbarian Village.
11. Enter Edgeville Dungeon using the entrance to the south of Edgeville
The entrance to Edgeville Dungeon is located directly south of Edgeville Bank, east of the Yew trees.
12. Move your player-owned house portal to a different location using the Varrock estate agent's
The Varrock estate agent can be found east of Varrock Castle, west of the church.
13. Speak to Haig Halen after obtaining at least 50 kudos
Haig Halen is right inside the museum. He is the main curator.
14. Enter the Earth Altar using an earth tiara or talisman
The Earth Altar is located east of Varrock, near the sawmill.
15. Have Elsie tell you a story
Elsie is on the second floor of the church. Make sure to bring a cup of tea for her or she won't tell you a story.
16. Mine some limestone near Paterdomus, the temple to the east of Varrock
The limestone mine is located west of the temple used in the Priest in Peril quest.
17. Catch a trout in the river to the east of Barbarian Village
The river to fish in is located on the east side of Barbarian Village. Be sure to remember your fly fishing rod and feathers.
18. Venture through the cobwebbed corridor in Varrock Sewers
The cobwebbed corridor is deep in Varrock Sewers. Make sure to bring a sharp weapon or knife to cut the webs.
19. Find the highest point in Varrock
The highest point in Varrock is on top of the church located north of the museum. Another point of equal height is on the top floor of Varrock Castle.
The Rewards
The main reward for the easy tasks is Varrock Armour 1. When wearing the Varrock Armour 1, you have a small chance of mining 2 ores at once (up to coal). In addition, when you smith in Edgeville you have a chance of smithing 2 bars at once (up to steel).
An experience lamp giving 1,000 xp in the skill of your choice.
The ability to move your Varrock teleport to the Grand Exchange and back by talking to Burgiss.
