What You Need: Redberry pie, 2 iron bars (4 if you want to keep a
blurite sword)
Requirements: Be able to survive level 57 monsters attacking you, 10 mining
The Start-
To start off the quest speak to Sir Vyvin's Squire who can be found in Falador Castles ground floor. Ask him how his life as a squire is and he will tell you that he lost Sir Vyvin's sword. Tell him you will try to get a new one and he will tell you the Imcando Dwarves. Ask the squire if the dwarves could possibly make you a new one, he says you should ask the librarian of Varrok Castle. Head to Varrok Castle and find the librarian, who is in the north side of the castle. Ask him about the Imcando Dwarves and he will tell you the barbarians almost wiped them out. Reldo tells you to check out the area below Port Sarim, and tells you that a
redberry pie would be helpful to convince the dwarf to help. Bring the pie and head all the way south from Sarim until you come to a cliff, nearby should be a
Thurgo's shack. Ask him if he would like a redberry pie and then ask him if he will make you a sword. He says if you had a picture of it he could probably help.
Blurite-
Now head back to Sir Vyvin's squire and ask him if there is a picture of the sword. he tells you there is one in a cupboard upstairs. Go inside the castle's main entrance and climb up the ladder. Head up the nearby stairs and there should be a cupboard in a small room. Open the cupboard and search and you will find a portrait. Now go show the portrait to Thurgo and he will tell you that he will need 2 iron bars and 1 blurite ore to make the sword. Next to Thurgo's house is a ladder leading into the ground. This leads to a cave containing muggers, pirates, hobgoblins, ice giants, and ice warriors. Head through the cave heading to the east once you get to the ice and you will find the blurite rocks. mine 1 (2 if you want to keep a sword) and then get back out of the cave. Get
Thurgo to make you the sword now, if you want a second you must either drop the sword, have him make a second, then pick the other one back up before it
disappears. Or bank the first one and have him make a second. Now head back to
Falador, if you got 2 swords make sure to bank one (as a note the swords are
untraceable along with blurite ore), now speak to the squire again (once you do this you will never be able to get a blurite sword again) to finish the quest!
