A Hero Named Wally-
To start Demon Slayer, speak to Gypsy Aris in Varrock. Agree to "cross her palm with silver", and you will hand her 1gp. She will tell you that she sees you holding an impressive sword, and then a dark shadow appears. She will scream in fright and tell you that a powerful demon called Delrith is coming to destroy Varrock. In the past, a hero named Wally had used a sword called Silverlight to trap Delrith. She will then realize the sword you had been holding in her vision was Silverlight, so you are destined to defeat Delrith this time. Ask how you can fight a demon that can destroy cities, and she will tell you that as long as you fight him right after he is summoned and use Silverlight then you shouldn't have too much trouble. Ask how Wally killed the demon, and a cut scene will show you Wally fighting the demon. When he says the 5 magical words, make sure to write them down for later.

Key Collector-
After the cut scene, ask Aris where you can find Silverlight. She will say that it is currently in the care of Sir Prysin the knight. Thank her, and then head North to Varrock Castle. Sir Prysin will be somewhere to the West of the entrance. Tell him that Aris sent you and then that you need to find Silverlight. Then tell him that you need to deal with Delrith, and he will tell you that you need 3 keys to get Silverlight from its box. Ask him why this is a problem, and he will tell you that he has only has 1 key, the other 2 are in the possession of Captain Rovin and Wizard Traiborn. Ask for his key, and he will tell you that he dropped it down the drain outside the palace kitchen. Now ask him where the drain leads to, and he will tell you that it leads to the Sewers. Tell him you had better go key hunting.

Convince the Captain-
Now head to the North West corner of the castle and climb to the 3rd floor. Talk to Rovin and tell him that its important and then that a demon wants to invade the city. Tell him yes it is very powerful and then that you will be fighting it, then that he should give it to you because Sir Prysin said he would. Ask him why he was given the key, and after a bit of conversation he will hand over the key.

The Sewer Key-
Now head back to the first floor, and go to the kitchen at the North East corner of the castle. Use your bucket on the sink to fill it with water, and then use it on the Drain right outside the door to wash the key into the sewers. Now head to where the sewers are marked on the guidemap, and climb down the manhole. Head to where the key is marked on the Sewer Map, and it will be lying on the ground in a pile of gunk by some skeletons (hard to see, and it’s not shown on the mini map).

The Mental Mage-
Now head out of the sewers, for this next part you will need to bring the 25 bones. Head to the Wizard Tower below Draynor and climb up to the 2nd floor. Speak to Traiborn and tell him that you need the key, then when he acts confused ask him if he has any keys knocking around. He will remember that he has one thats sealed away with a spell, tell him you will find the bones he needs. Then speak to him again to hand over the bones and get the key.

Delriths Doom-
Now head back to Varrock Castle and speak to Sir Prysin, you will hand over the keys and he will retrieve the sword from its case and give it to you. It is now time to fight the demon with Silverlight, get your supplies ready and then head to the stone circle South of Varrock. When you get close, a cut scene will begin showing the summoning of Delrith, and then one of the Mages will attack you. If you are lower than combat level 41 you might also be attacked by the other level 7 and/or 20 dark mages. Once you defeat Delrith using Silverlight he will collapse, and then you must repeat the 5 magic words you wrote down earlier. Once you say it correctly, Delrith will disappear and the quest will be complete!
